Responsibly Red

We are a global team working with customers around the world, and we recognise that our activities have an impact on the environment, our communities and the people we work with.

As an employee-owned business, we believe that sustainability is about making good decisions, taking responsibility for our actions, and continually seeking ways to improve. We call this being Responsibly Red.

Our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy focuses on three key areas: Environment, Social Responsibility and Governance.

ESG focus #1

Environment

We recognise that our activities have a direct environmental impact. As an employee-owned company with an open and honest culture, we have the ability, desire and passion to create a workplace where environmental protection is a key consideration in everything we do.

As a professional services company, our direct environmental impact is relatively low compared to many industrial sectors. However, we remain committed to minimising our environmental footprint and continually improving our environmental performance across our global operations. This includes the reduction of our carbon footprint; increased use of sustainable and renewable energy; and recycling and good waste management wherever possible.

Our leadership, stakeholders and customers are committed to reducing climate change, embedding these values across our business and fostering environmental awareness and responsibility throughout our organisation and beyond.

Our Environmental Principles

Embed environmental awareness and consideration in everything we do.
Comply with applicable environmental laws, regulations and other environmental obligations relevant to our activities.
Consider environmental impacts when making business, procurement and operational decisions.
Continually improve our environmental performance through the measurement, management and reduction of environmental impacts.
Select suppliers who can provide evidence of effective environmental and waste management practices.

Our Waste Management Principles

Minimise waste sent to landfill by applying the principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
Reuse, donate or recycle more than 99% of our electronic waste (e-waste).
Select suppliers who can provide evidence of effective waste management practices.

ESG focus #2

Social Responsibility

As an employee-owned organisation, our people are at the heart of our business. We are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive, and rewarding environment where employees can develop professionally and contribute to the company’s long-term success.

We promote a culture built on trust, collaboration, openness and respect, supported by flexible ways of working that help our employees maintain a positive work-life balance.

Our Social Responsibility Principles

Support the wellbeing, safety and development of our employees.
Foster inclusivity, diversity and equality across our workforce.
Encourage ethical behaviour, respect and accountability throughout the organisation.
Maintain a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery in our operations and supply chain.
Create opportunities for employees to have a voice in the direction and success of the business through our employee-owned structure.

Living Wage Employer

We are proud to be a Living Wage Employer in the UK. We believe that fair pay is a fundamental part of responsible business practice and contributes to employee wellbeing, engagement and long-term success.

ESG focus #3

Governance

Strong governance underpins everything we do. Our Board and Executive Management Team are responsible for ensuring that Consult Red operates ethically, transparently and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct while protecting the interests of our employees, customers, suppliers and stakeholders.

Compliance and Information Security

Information security is a core business priority. Our UK and Poland operations are certified to ISO 27001, providing independent assurance that robust information security controls are in place.

We maintain a framework of policies and procedures covering areas including:

Employee Code of Conduct
Information Security
Health and Safety
Anti-Bribery and Corruption
Whistleblowing
Modern Slavery

We review these policies regularly to ensure they remain effective and relevant to our business.

Our Governance Principles

Operate ethically and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Maintain a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption.
Support open reporting and whistleblowing without fear of retaliation.
Protect company, employee and customer information through robust security controls.
Promote accountability, transparency and responsible decision-making at all levels of the business.

Our role, in support of our customers, is about connecting people. It is what we do – all day every day. Through our social responsibility strategy, goals and actions we are continually seeking improvement in how we engage and operate in this more connected world while minimising our impact on the environment. Our people are passionate in support of these principles and I’m proud to see this commitment in all the work that we do.
