I want an engineering partner without a legacy vendor relationship to protect

We’re a considered, deliberate entrant into defence and security, built on over two decades of embedded engineering rigour and 500+ delivered engagements in adjacent regulated sectors – secure broadcast platforms, embedded systems at scale, and cybersecurity compliance under frameworks including the UK PSTI Act and EN18031.

We don’t have a large portfolio of named defence programmes to point to yet, and we’d rather be straight about that than overstate it. What we do have is an engineering team that has spent decades building secure, high-reliability systems under real constraints, and an independent structure with no incumbent platform or vendor relationship to protect. For programmes that need genuinely impartial engineering judgement, that combination is worth a conversation.

I want to extend the life of ageing platforms and reduce obsolescence risk

Hardware that’s fully depreciated but still performant is sitting in a golden window of opportunity, not a replacement decision. In most cases, the device isn’t the problem.

Software obsolescence, unsupported security postures, and the accumulated complexity of years of patches are what make serviceable platforms feel past their prime.

We’ve spent over two decades extracting additional years of productive life from in-field devices for tier-1 operators, part of a track record that includes 50m+ hardware units deployed globally, and the same engineering approach – consolidating fragmented software, closing security gaps, managing complexity – applies directly to defence and security electronics.

I want security built in from day one, not retrofitted

Security-by-design isn’t a slogan for us – it’s how we’ve worked for two decades, from conditional access and DRM integration on operator platforms to attack surface analysis on IoT devices.

We hold ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security management, and our engineering teams treat security as a first-order design constraint, not a compliance checkbox added at the end.

I want to explore edge compute and AI on constrained platforms

Processing data locally, at low latency, on hardware with real power and size constraints, is an engineering problem we solve regularly, including for on-device AI in consumer and media environments.

I want a partner who can scale from prototype to volume production

We manage the full journey from proof of concept to manufacture, including OEM and EMS partner evaluation, new product introduction, and quality control.

Our hardware designs have been built for manufacture at meaningful scale in other regulated sectors; more than 15m products have passed through our production test processes, and we bring the same design-for-manufacture discipline to lower-volume, higher-assurance defence and security production.
