  • Radar technology is new to this customer in the consumer market segment.​
  • Selecting the best-in-class Radar device with the best features & at the necessary price point.​
  • No suitable test processes existed. ​
  • Design & test to find the sensitivity sweet spot where we can detect a person sitting still in a room, but not be overly sensitive that moving curtains, pets etc. would cause a trigger.

  • Partner with silicon vendor to use their 24GHz all-in-one highly integrated radar solution.​
  • Developed bespoke test processes using innovative corner reflectors & turntables.​
  • A detailed study of the methods and standards lead to an innovative approach to speed up the regulatory compliance (without requiring a Notified Body).​
  • Detailed knowledge of the silicon design, performing low level register manipulations & tuning with appropriate scripting to enable access to all the devices functionality and utilising machine learning to classify humans / non-humans.
