Consult Red joins Broadband Forum to help drive innovation and interoperability

Consult Red is delighted to announce its membership to Broadband Forum, an open, non-profit industry organization. Members include industry-leading broadband operators, vendors, and thought leaders who are shaping the future of broadband.

Broadband Forum is one of the communications industry’s leading organisations focused on accelerating broadband innovation, standards, and ecosystem development. The work of the Broadband Forum is central to the development of open industry standards and an accelerated broadband ecosystem globally.

As Rahul Mehra, Chief Technology Officer, Consult Red comments, “We’re proud to be an active participant in the Broadband Forum as it continues to drive innovation, growth, and interoperability within the industry. Membership enables us to collaborate and contribute to working projects that span 5G, Connected Home, Cloud, to help define best practices as we continue to expand our IoT capabilities.”

Consult Red is a contributor to Broadband Forum, prpl Foundation and RDK, community-driven consortiums dedicated to harmonising home network architecture to further accelerate service provider capabilities. Broadband Forum’s 40 worldwide members contribute to work programs delivering open-source reference implementations of common infrastructure.
