Responsibly Red

We are a global team, working with a global customer base, and recognise our impact on the world around us, both in and out of work. We share a collective responsibility for this impact and continually strive to improve both our local and global environments and communities.

In many ways, this is about making good choices and doing the right thing. We like to think of this as being Responsibly Red.

To focus our Environmental, Social Responsibility and Governance (ESG) efforts, set related goals and seek continual improvement, we have identified three priority areas.

ESG focus #2

Social Responsibility

As an employee-owned organisation, our people and our communities are at the forefront of our actions. Through our employee committee, every member of our team has a stake and a voice in our direction. We operate with a commitment to openness, diversity, and long-term career development, supported by flexible and remote working to ensure a sustainable work-life balance.

Beyond our internal team, we engage locally through volunteering, sponsorship, and charitable donations, with our employee committee identifying the causes we support.

Our Social Responsibility Principles

  • Ensure the well-being of our employees, including the fostering of inclusivity, diversity and equality in our workforce.
  • Engage locally to make a positive impact on our communities through volunteering and charitable donations.
  • Zero tolerance for modern slavery in our operations or those of our suppliers and customers.

We are a Living Wage Employer. We believe paying a decent wage is fundamental to responsible business management, driving improved productivity and staff retention. Our lowest rate of pay in the UK reflects the current Living Wage rates.

Information Security is a core operational priority. Our UK and Poland operations are ISO 27001 certified, providing independent verification of our data management and security controls.

Through our social responsibility strategy, goals and actions we are continually seeking improvement in how we engage and operate in this more connected world while minimising our impact on the environment. Our people are passionate in support of these principles and I’m proud to see this commitment in all the work that we do.
