Consult Red is a trusted partner to the digital media industry and beyond, driving innovation and delivering support through the entire product development journey. We apply our cutting-edge experience in software development, hardware, embedded and cloud technology to help companies in all sectors to deliver connected devices, gateways and systems.

Founded by five engineering leaders from Pace Micro in 2003, Consult Red has grown a strong reputation working with some of the world’s leading Pay TV, media and OTT operators. Since then, we have grown from being an embedded specialist in the media sector to a professional services provider working with companies in other industries such as Energy, Telecommunications and Healthcare.

Currently, having taken their equipment, office chairs, and favourite coffee cups with them, our team members #stayathome and are working safely from there.

You can find out more about our company, and what it’s like to work with us, on our LinkedIn or Glassdoor pages.

The Quality & Compliance Manager will join us at a critical time for our business. Consult Red has grown consistently over the past 15 years but, in recent times, that growth has accelerated significantly. This means that our customer base, staff, tools and systems have all grown exponentially over a relatively short space of time, whilst our working practices have simultaneously evolved to cope with the impacts of COVID19.

We take our quality and security responsibilities seriously and, to drive this agenda forward even faster, we’re looking for an experienced subject matter expert to join our team. The Quality & Compliance Manager will oversee a number of significant projects and changes, setting the tone for a business that puts compliance, quality and security at the heart of everything it does. This is where you come in…

At first, you’ll support a number of high-profile ongoing projects (including ISO27001 certification, which we’ll complete this year). Once you’ve got your feet under the desk, there’ll be plenty more exciting things to get stuck into, and you’ll really get a chance to shine.

This will be a broad, challenging and fast-moving role. You’ll guide various stakeholders across our different offices (UK, Poland and the US) and will lead the way on all of our crucial security and quality standards along with supporting some general business compliance requirements; this will include ISO standards, cybersecurity, GDPR, Health & Safety and environmental standards, to name just a few.

If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you.

If that is something you can get excited about, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Creating and updating company policy to cover appropriate legislation, such as GDPR and Health & Safety
  • Undertaking routine or ad-hoc audits to test compliance and carrying out risk assessments
  • Working across different teams to investigate incidents and breaches.
  • Recommending and implementing appropriate control improvements
  • Providing expert advice to the exec team and senior managers
  • Championing relevant issues in the workplace and coordinating business-wide communications and updates

What you will need to bring

  • In-depth knowledge of relevant standards (e.g. ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO27001)

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Desirable Tech Skills

  • Knowledge of cyber security
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation

  • A competitive salary that grows with your career
  • A twice-yearly company bonus scheme

Our Recruitment Process

We believe in moving fast and keeping things simple.

Once you submit your CV, we'll send you a short online form asking you to confirm a couple of details. Your application then goes directly to the Hiring Manager to review. We'll always try to come back to you within a few days.

We'll usually do a short first stage telephone interview. If that goes well, we'll want to set up a longer conversation to find out more. Where possible, we'll do a face-to-face interview in our offices, so that you can get a better feel for the company and your team. However, we understand the challenges of COVID-19 and have adapted our business to be completely flexible around the current situation. This means that we may do some, or all, of the interview process over video using Microsoft Teams, Skype, or GoToMeeting.

However we do it, we want you to leave us with a real feel for the role and a sense of what it's like to work with us, so we're happy to spend some quality time to answer all of your questions.

If this sounds like what you’ve been looking for, apply today and we’ll be in touch really soon.
